Which country is the quadriplegic in?

Is this with regards to having a right to die?

If the quadriplegic is in the UK, you may find the following of interest: http://news.bbc.co.u...lth/4418284.stm

I would suggest contacting the Voluntary Euthanasia Society (VES), here is their web address: http://www.ves.org.uk/index.htm

This can be a legal nightmare, so the VES should be able to give a more accurate answer with regards to patient rights.

Let us know what they say.

Simon.

ves were helpful and gave contact details for a law firm who specialise in these issues.

have since spoken with them and the advice is that if a quadriplegic refuses food then any person who attempts to force feed them is committing a crime of assault against the person.

they also offered to look into and take on the case if necessary.

thanks for your input.
