Hello ALL !!!

I'm in need of a new wheelchair and considering ordering the chair from Sportaid (www.sportaid.com). Has anyone had any experience with ordering chairs from this site, and if so, was it a positive transaction? Any idea on turn-a-round time for a TiLite chair? Any better places to order a TiLite........I live in New York? Any input is again greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a great day.

Hubby & I always order our chairs from Sportaid. We've always had a positive experience with them too. The first chair I ordered off Sportaid was my Quickie Titanium and I had a measurement wrong (something about the no camber and the closeness of the wheels to the chair), anyway, a sales person actually called me on the phone to help me configure the chair a bit differently. We went through all the measurements and made sure I still would be happy with the adjustments. I thought that was great and very helpful.

Also, the price on the chairs is "cheaper" than if you went through a medical supply company. :helpme:

Oh, and the turnaround if quite fast. I'm always surprised at how quickly the chairs are delivered (but be prepared for giant boxes!)

Anyone else done business with Bike-on.com. Their prices look a touch higher than Sportaid but it appears that the prices may be "adjusted." Any input...................? THANK YOU !!

I havent bought a chair from Sportaid, but I've been getting spokeguards, tubes and every kind of imaginable supply from them for 15 plus years. I have never had any trouble from them at all. Once l received two left hand gloves in an order though. They told me to keep em and sent me a correct pair. Didnt even charge for shipping.

Sportaid rocks.

I have ordered a lot of stuff from this web site. Wheelchairs, J3 back support, wheels, products for the house, etc.. Always, always a top-class experience.

I'm in Dublin, Ireland. I was given the name Jimbo at Sportaid by the head of the Irish Paralympics movement. She ordered almost all the wheelchair sports equipment through Jimbo and said he was great. That's been my experience as well. He is very good technically as well as in customer service. And, because wasn't able to answer a couple of minor details on my last wheelchair purchase, a TiLite ZRA, he put me directly in touch with one of the main guys at TiLite.

I'm surprised to hear any negative comments. I've been using them for a long time and they have never once been anything but fantastic. Can't recommend the web site highly enough.
