For me it's Depeche Mode, I don't know why, they are a bit dark, it's just the textures and lyrics hit the spot! :P

I'm sure you all have your own soothin' tunes.

So what are they?

Simon. :)

p.s. this post is sponsored by Budweiser, Red Wine and the new Depeche Mode album :D

For me.....all the RAP/HIP HOP SONGS and a bit of Metallic.(they said it's a crap song)
If I feel down and blue....I used to listen to those songs. And it enlighten me...coz I think I cannot voice out my problem and cannot say all the bad words.I'll let the music express my feelings. :)

I'm not a man hater...but not picky also...but dunno..love the song of Gloria Gaynor"I will survive".I dont like either those love songs...coz I feel the lirycs all are telling a lie.Specially when the singer is a man... :D

That's why girls like me dont understand my type of songs :P

Sorry to sound boring, but Baroque is my real interest; I used to be an organist and Bach is the basic stuff there.

Otherwise anything you might loosely call 'classical' including Bernstien and Rutter which I wil be singing with the choir of which I am a member.

Metallica, Guns N Roses, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Disturbed, Shinedown, Dark New Day, Nickleback, Ozzy, Staind, Limp Biskit, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, AC/DC. Pretty much anything hard rock or heavy metal. Not what you think a registered nurse would listen to, but I've always been different. When you got a job (and life) as stressful as mine, you have to have someway to express your self. And some of the lyrics speak exactly how I feel.

My friend Luke is OBSESSED with Nirvana. He has the big smiley face symbol tattooed on his arm and he also named his dog Buddha...which was the name of Kurt Cobain's imaginary friend when he was a little boy.
