Have seen a few posts about the beach and thought Id share how I roll on the beach. Here is a few pics of my beach rigs and me headin into the surf to do a little wade fishing. truck.JPG truck___chair.JPG mechair.JPG echair.JPG]goininwater.JPG chairinwater.JPG charging.JPG
I live on the beach, so I frequent it often. I used to have to go with friends only, but now between my truck and the fatso's wheels from Colours, I have been able to hit the beach independently. I dont go in the water by myself but its nice not having to rely on anyone. Well I hope this sheds a little light.

Nice! I was just at the beach today and I would have totally loved to have a chair like that. The casters still look quite small, do you just do a "wheelie" when pushing over the sand?

Yeah, I just do a wheelie to get through the sand. In those pics the fatso wheels are on my everyday chair, hince the regular casters. I am doing some modifications to an old frame so I can mount some big front casters. I am trying to use a 8x3 air filled wheels, i think those will be big enough to get through the sand. I will let you know how it goes.

If I fall out of my wheelchair in the woods would anybody hear me?
