A quick forum search revealed no other posts on rewalk.
I think the thing looks great. I'd definitely be up for something like that.

I contacted the company via email and asked how much it costs and how long it ran for and if any insurance has paid for it and if so what insurance company. Ill keep everyone posted becasue it sure would be neat to be able to get up and leave the chair behind. I think it would feel kind of wierd?

The company emailed me back and said it is still in the progress of getting all the bugs worked out and said it will be for sale by 2010. They said it should cost around $20,000 u.s. dollars. sounds pretty neat and cool to me

Hi

Argo Medical Technologies Ltd. (www.argomedtec.com) is a young Israeli company which developed a unique prtoduct, called the ReWalk, which enables people of lower limb mobility disabilities (including paraplegics as a result of spinal chord injuries) to stand, walk and climb stairs.
The ReWalk is still in the development stage. It will not be available commercially 2010.

You are welcome to visit our Website: www.argomedtec.com

That is quite a neat device! Here's the youtube video:

I had leg braces and crutches as a kid and I suppose they feel about the same, except I suppose they are motorized or to allow the legs to swing in a walking motion? Interesting ... but 20 grand!! Wow-zers!!
