Hi there. My name is Ishwar, Ish to my friends. I wish to dedicate this topic to the UNSUNG HEROS in MY or should I say OUR lives. I am talking about our WIVES, MOMS, HUSBANDS, CAREGIVERS and any OTHER that helped, loved and stood by us. That listened to our moans, groans and whines, that shared our fears, sorrows and pain. That washed, dressed and fed us, that cried and laughed with us.

To YOU, our HEROS, I LOVE YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART, for you make our lives bearable, liveable and for the most times enjoyable.

from your BIGGEST fan
ISH

PS.

I am sure that almost everyone that has an injury has someone to thank.
So come on guys, lets dedicate some of our time in expressing how GREATFUL we are to our UNSUNG HEROS and let them know that we are ALWAYS appreciative of everything that they do for us, although we don't always show it.

Hi Ish,

Turning it around a little, from the 'caregivers' in whatever form they take, thanks to the spinally injured loved one, who so often make caring that much easier by their courage, determination, thoughtfulness and at times humour !
Dave

Hi, Ish,

Your post brought tears to my eyes. Yes, this life can be a bitch, but it also can be incredibly beautiful to one with such a grateful heart. Thanks for the reminder.

Ish thank you so much.
I'm new here and have been my husband's only caregiver for the last seventeen year. Sometimes I would like a little gratitude for choosing to be there for him; I really could have had a lot more fun without the extra work. Really, I wouldn't have it any other way and he does appreciate me, that's why I love him, but there are times I wish the rest of the world would give me a break.

I'm a little down right now because we are dealing with the second pressure sore he has had in 34 years. The task looks daunting, at this moment.
