Flap Surgery

Hi there, I am curious, has anyone on here had flap surgery? Or more specifically ischial flap surgery? My bf had sacral flap surgery in January and it healed perfectly in 3 wks. He recently had ischial flap surgery, and its success rate is not as high as the sacral surgery. (The EMTs dropped him after the first surgery and broke down scar tissue on his ischial to the bone! ugh!) So far, the dr. seems to think the surgery was successful but I would love some personal insight into the recovery process.
