How do peeps. Long time no see.

I borrowed an 'inversion table' last night from a friend and found it to be great even though I've only been on it twice.

I flipped completely upside down straight away and a bit too quick as I could immediatly feel my spine litrally "stretch".

Anyone else got any info / story's on inversion tables?

Stay cool.

I have been wanting to get one of those since I have stopped going to gym. I have noticed that I seem to have kinda squished together and my trunk does not seem as long as it was while I was lifting. I used to really love doing lat pull-downs with heavy weight because of the feeling of stretching out my spine. Now that I know you get that same feeling out of the inversion tables, I think I'll spring for one of them. Thanks a bunch for the info!

Would be interesting to compare your height laying down versus being in full suspension on the inversion table. Or, your height when you start off the suspension and then at the end of your session. By the way, how long does one usually hang there?

I have thought of trying one of those out -- my spinal instability makes my vertebrae kind of wobble around or alternately jam close together from the muscle spasm that is attempting to hold me together. Would be nice to give some extra room to the discs on a regular basis. The disc inflammation is a huge source of my pain.

Hi, im new here. I bought an inversion table a few months ago. I've been told i shouldnt ever crack my neck by my neurosurgeon or have it manipulated under any circumstance. Considering that cracking my neck is the only thing that relieves the pain, (if only for a short time)i realised i had to find some alternative. I can honestly say that when i use my inversion table, the need to crack my neck is greatly reduced and is therefor very valuable. I only wish i could fully invert but i cant as of yet. Id recommend anyone with spinal problems to give it a try.
