Have you given your number out to anyone new lately?
Would hate for you to get cheated.
My advice. Skip the surgery, take the 30k and go to a recovery center. No promises there either tho.

Stem cell therapy is a miracle for the future. If it offered reliable improvements now, it would be mainstream now. The Dominican Republic is a very poor country not normally associated with being at the cutting edge of medical research. I think your doctor needs reporting.

ALS forum
If I were you Id take your settlement and spend the money on things that will really improve your life not waste it on some desperate hope. When news of a breakthrough in stem cell research comes it will be from trusted researchers who have spent a lifetime looking for the answer like Dr Wise Young, not some unknown. (shes says politly).
cheers

Anyone that asks you to wire money two weeks prior to the surgery in a poor foriegn country should be closely investigated.

The CAPS key on your keyboard seems to be locked down. Makes reading hard and suggests you're shouting. Sure would appreciate a mixture of lower and upper cases.

I know you got the hint, but I did find it amusing that this call was out of the DR. You would've had a hard time gettin' around down there anyway, until you could walk that is . . . sheeeeesh, there I go again!
