hi all...i've just stumbled onto this place too......cool. Yea, i was in Stanmore in Autumn 99 curtesy of my motorcycle colliding with of all things (snigger....darkly amusing) an armoured (f**k**g) car!
My names Andy (T12-L1 eventually a walker), i left Stanmore like a bat out of hell with only one mission :- TO FORGET. Only thing is i forgot too much....also lost contact with good people which i now realise was not good! If ANYONE remembers me reply in this forum , it would be GREAT to hear from you :-) @ndy (death or glory!...come on lets 'av it)

Hi I was in Stanmore from March 2000 to October 2000. I couldn't wait to leave either! C7 incomplete, wheelchair user now. Which ward were you in? I was in Angus McKinnon ward and then up on the SIU, I was in the last bay of 4 beds. I've never been so bored or fed up in my life! Why is the place on the side of a hill?? Anyway now I am working, driving and used to living with this spinal injury.
