Hello I'm new here this is my first time to post something, so I'm not sure if I'm putting this in the right spot. Sorry if I'm not.  I was wondering if anybody had any advice that might help me figure out how to start riding my horse again. My accident was in march of this year so I haven't been trying to get back on yet but I think I'm ready to start trying. Any information would be great.

Here in Ca. they have programs for disabled people to ride horses. You can check out these folks.

Hi
You can get back on. See if you can find a theraputic riding school. They use ramps and lifts to get you on the horse.
Pat Parelli has a video of a young girl that gets up on her horse by two people lifting her up and she rides English.
I have horses and I have not yet been back on. I plan to go this month to a place called Boots and Saddles, Colorado
There is a magazine called New Mobility. If you can get a copy the have a picture of their lift putting a rider on a horse. I think the lift is called Sure Hands. You can also go to "Ricci Kilgore" on the web, and she has a video, she rides her horse. One thing I must bring up, is LEVEL OF INJURY. It makes a big difference. That is why I would recommend going to a school, so they can help you, at your level.
I will let you know how my lesson goes.

Judging by your post, I thought you really meant getting back in the CHAIR if/when you fall out!! Or, that's what I was HOPING this thread was about anyway.

Well . . . um, yah. Gotta go then, I guess.
