From present day, or history, who is the person you would most like to sit down with and have a chat and why?

My choice would be Sir Winston Churchill to discover how he managed to motivate the British nation during World War 2 and how he kept control of what he described as "The Black Dog on his back" (Depression)

Welll.. I guess I would want to sit down and have a talk with my kitty. If she could talk, that is..

But if dead people and superior beings can make their way to share a bottle of wine no reason my kitty cant enlighten me on a few things.

I would like to talk to my mother to ask why she didn't bring me up, and to ask her about my father to whom she was married 9 years before my birth.

My mother died 6 months before I eventually tracked her down in New Zealand; she was aged 89. It would be nice to have closure, but that wont happen so I'll have to accept it.

Hi Ches,

Got three cats, four until this time last year and I agree it would be great to speak with them as they seem so in tune with our feelings at times.

I was thinking it'd be nice to have a chin wag and check a few pointers with Jesus and Buddha but neither of them spoke English so I wouldn't be able to understand what it was they told me! Maybe that's the answer.

The other night my sister and I were watching some old TWILLIGHT ZONE videos. While watching them, I began to think, "WOW, Rod Serling would be one interesting person to speak with!" I have always loved those shows and it has always made me think what the heck was going through his head that he could write such interesting shows and this was almost 50 years ago that he had written these shows. A man who was WAY before his time.

Here's to you, Rod Serling!

Probably most of the people on this site at some stage after reading the great posts on here. Famous people (as opposed to infamous) though, probably Douglas Bader (WWII amputee fighter pilot) or Sir Edmund Hillary (NZ mountain climber and adventurer who climbed Everest)
