This is a very interesting site and I like what I see here. Could someone out there please tell me how you post things into your messages. I see things like "Click Here" to see me do whatever" "Click here to see my car."

I am very intersted in being able to do this with my messages but am new to computers and dont know how.

Any step by step instructions.

PS Sorry it is not an SCI problem but it makes a pleasant change. The only problem I have is ACCEPTING my SCI!

Hi,

You need to register as a member to post images.

Then, when you are logged in, and you want to post a message, you will see a small button under your posting form which says "file attachments". You can then look for the image on your hard disk, and select it to upload the image with your post.

The image will then appear at the bottom of your message once you have submitted it.

If you want to add an image to the middle of your message, you will need a web server to host the image first. Then you just use the http://www.yourserve...m/yourimage.jpg tags to link to the message.

Regards

Simon.

Your ISP (Internet Service Provider) may give you space on their server to upload your files to so you can link them back to here. I have Comcast and they give me 25MBs of website/homepage or storage space that I can use to upload pictures to so I can insert them into a post.

This my forked-tongue beast. The picture (jpg) is "hosted" on my ISP's server and is linked to here as Apparelyzed explained. If you right click on the photo (if you're using a PC, not Mac) and choose "Properties" you'll see the URL (my personal web space address at Comcast) listed there.

There are free websites that you can join that allow you to upload pictures and files to also. PhotoBucket--Click HERE is one of them. You can also pay to get more space and options at these websites if you want.

If you tell me who your ISP is I can find out if they offer free website or file hosting space and how much space it is. Most ISPs will sell you additional space but usually offer some space for free.

Bob,
Just wanted to let you know you have the world's greatest companion, and cute too, ha! ha!. I'm an animal freak. My little dog (part Fiest, part Jack Russell) is sitting with me now.

Hi bluebutterflyrn,

Because of Summer's (my greyhound's name) predominately white with black and tan coat markings I joke about her thinking that she's a Jack Russell. There will hardly be any room on my bed yet she'll jump up and shoehorn herself into a tiny spot hardly big enough for a Jack Russell. Then she starts pushing against me with her paws trying to shove me over the edge and onto the floor. Lucky for me that my bed isn't one of her favorite spots...

Hi AHolland,

As you can see I had my tongue surgically split so I can type using both forked tines and my pointy nose. Being only able to vocalize by barking my voice recognition program is of little practical use. B)

How is your pain control coming along? And your war on UTIs?
