Injury aside.
I'ts a privilege for me to to post on this site.
Within nano-seconds of finding out I'd never walk again I realized my sense of humor would have to pick up the slack where my physical capabilities were now failing me.
Equilibrium must be maintained, the abyss too profound. And a .45? Any street corner in south central L. A. Straight trade for a low mileage wheelchair in good condition. Any time, day or night.
And if I can make the corner of even one persons mouth twitch in an upward direction I've done more than I ever though possible. ( for a schlump like me )
how bout a weekly 'toon strip. "incontinent carlisle, crapper extraordinaire"
kidding
Thank you. E-dog

even at the harshest times i feel if i can laugh it makes everything just alittle better.

A weekly rant or comic would be great, and im not kidding. If only you could go to capital hill and give them a piece of your mind about disablity rights.

Well said. My first day out in the chair, I found being able to laugh helped myself and others, and staved off far more you're-so-brave and it-must-be-hard comments than being angry.

Cheers, mate.

"E-Dog goes to Capitol Hill" by Bill Watterson, daily in the newspapers.

Seriously though: if I had an artist, I'd plot and script a strip about being a wheelchair user. I've got half a dozen ideas already.

Oh yeah........I agree. E-dog always brings a smile to my face. And oftentimes, I'm like Dave.........laughing insanely so loud people are convinced of what they've thought all along. I don't care what people think (most times), that laugh makes my day!

Thanks E-dog.........you are great!

Oh Chesie, bless yer heart. You've confused damper with hamper! Now take that darn thing off yer head, it's not a secret fort for you to hide in (we can still see your lil' leggies sticking out at the bottom) that's a good girl. See? Now the world doesn't smell like dirty underwear any more.
