Hey there, I'm writing the sports & rec chapter of a new edition of Spinal Network. SN is a resource guide for wheelers, mostly newly injured folks.

Does anyone know how I can reach Courtney Cooper? She is (or was) a chairskater in California. Does anyone know any other women or girls doing extreme sports from their chairs?

And while I'm here, I'm also looking for wheelers playing paintball. Anybody?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks so much, I think it's too late now unfortunately. (I couldn't get back into this site, not sure why!) It seems like Courtney's not into doing interviews now. Oh well!

"whats a chair skater???"

People who do skateboard-type stuff in their chairs. Google/YouTube Aaron Fotheringham and Chris Bailey. Wait til you see Aaron do a back-flip! WOW.

Sorry not a female.

Aaron Fotheringham is awesome, I can remember seeing him on a sports channel a couple of years ago doing his "Hardcore sitting" and showing the clips of his backflip!

I would love to do this but nowhere close to me has any decent skate parks, otherwise i'd give it a go.
