Where do I even begin,OK, So I went to the Dentist,Determined,Because previous phonecalls with him he was'nt sure what he was able to do for me,I am on warfarin(had a B.C last Oct) and I had to stop that for 3 days,So I get there and there is a ramp,I barely get through the doors, but I do,I barely get into the room,but...I do.I get beside the Dentist chair....barely.He says, ohhh nooo, this isnt going to work, and I still cannot transfer,More Determined,I make my mom and my little sister hoist me w/my sling into the Dentist Chair, what a sight that was,LMAO.The Dentist doesnt know what way to look,he's trying to help by grabbing me by my pants leg to try to lift up my leg,IT WAS CRAZY!!!! So finally we r in all set,Well,I have state insurance, because of my injury, the injury and only related things to that are all they r willing to pay for anymore,No Dentist!!!!!!!It is bad enough I have to deal w/ being paralyed,I get to watch my teeth rot and fall out of my head!!!!!! Well,This sweet little old Dentist,Repaired my cavities for nothing,If I'm ever able to repay him,Iwill do so in a heartbeat

Keep your teeth they come in real handy, I know what you mean about dental coverage it seems that the teeth would be one of the most important things to cover because without them the things you can eat gets pretty slim. Hey ask him if he needs anything done in his office and volunteer, sounds like a great guy you lucked out for sure..................

Dentists have a hard life, trapped in their little rooms constantly searching in peoples' mouths. It's a working life that leads to alcoholism like no other job. So when I nice young tetraplegic turns up in his surgery the change from his tedious normal patient load to someone different is like a holiday. You made his day and he made your's - good deal.

That's really nice. Good for you for being persistent and how wonderful your dentist thought of patient care above money. I don't think I've ever heard of such a thing. Thanks for sharing your great experience.
