Hi all,
A question.
I have been using Relaxit micro enemas for bowel management for 12-13 years. One a day, get on the toilet, squirt it up, 5-15 minutes later, whoosh, then a quick finger poke to check I'm empty and clear out the residue.
It works fine, I can usually be on and off the toilet in about 20 minutes.
But Relaxit is not that easy to get in bulk where I now live, I am getting it posted in boxes of 100 from overseas which is ok but not ideal.
Has anyone any experience of glycerin suppositories? ie how fast they work etc.
I have been reading through the posts on this forum and it seems that some of you guys/gals sit on the seat for over an hour at a time to empty your bowels which doesn't sound promising but if anyone does know more about glycerin suppositories and their pro's and con's please post a reply.

For me, once it starts going, it's done in 20 minutes or less. Once in a while it takes longer and i sit there longer than that usually just to be sure im done.

For me the enemas work in 5 - 10 mins sometimes as quick as 2.
I also have glysorol supositories but they do take a lot longer. Somewhere between 1/2 hour and an hour before i even feel bloated and think of going. I also find that sometimes however hard i try i cant get them to stay in, even if i insert them tip last as some people suggested.

I use the supositories if i have a lot of time and the enema is either the supository hasnt stayed in / worked or i am very uncomfortable and havent been for a few days or i am in a hurry (the main reason)
