Fairground Attraction: "Moon on the Rain" (Does anyone even remember that?) kitschy, sad - I'm in a melancholy mood today. (My mood does not really fit the lyrics, though.)

I didn't even expect to find this on YouTube - and there it is, in a version performed years ago in Hamburg / Germany (place of my favourite film Soulkitchen). The world is full of f***ing coincidences. kitschy, eh?

at the moment - The Stones (old album) and a mixture of TV sound next door - and some snoring ...

Happy Patrick's Day, you two! Actually my son is called Patrick and said today: "It's a special day, you know?" No party, no pub - homework and off to bed! What a pity.

Beautiful song ("Don't go").

Mozart's String Quartet No. 15 in D minor k 421. I'd add the link, as did the people above, but I am ignorant of the method. I must learn to do this.

Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody #1. Less popular than HR#2.
(Link to Part 1 of 2: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=EydVNw1uHeM )
I still haven't figured out how to put in the picture link that everyone else seems to know. And no, the "Insert Special Item" tab doesn't help me.

Spot,

Yes, you can do it. Actually I'm a PC "dummy" and have just found out some time ago. Let me try to explain (although I'm sure others - StillFingers and Scribbler, e. g. - can explain better.)

Steps to take:
1) Open new tab "YouTube.com"
2) Choose your video (best: not from your personal page / profile - if you do, however, you must mark the link on the right hand side, middle, not the top)
3) Mark the part in the e-mail address (on top) after / without =
4) right mouse button: press "Copy"
5) back to this forum
6) "full answer" - "insert special item" tab: last bit called "embed youtube" (press)
7) a little box "Content" opens up: set cursor inside, right mouse button, press "insert" (well, I guess, in German it's "einfügen")
8) looks funny, but should be ok
9) press OK underneath box
10) go back to your answer - it's only when you press "add reply" that you can admire the wonderful result :D (or perhaps not ... :help: )

God - that sounds complicated! (I read somewhere that when Germans try to explain something, it's "obtuse"!!)
I hope it works for you. If it doesn't: either pm me, or better: ask one of the above-mentioned champions.

Can anybody explain to me the difference between "post link" and "topic link"? And how is that done? "press"????
Oh well - living is learning.

Good luck, Spot!
J.

Wow - Spot, you speak German! I'm impressed. :)

No, you don't need German. It's just that - of course - my computer "speaks German" with me.
Can't you explain to me how to add a link?

The thing is - we should really just experiment and find out by "trial and error and error and trial and error and YES!" - I guess that's really the way most men and kids do it - but I really consider that a waste of time. Good luck then! J.

I experimented for a bit, then decided it was a waste of time and effort. Nothing I was listening to was going to be of general interest, anyway.
(I can still speak some German. I used to live in Bayern, about 30 km south of Muenchen. Darn, this keyboard doesn't have an umlaut.)
