I might be interested in swapping with you as I want to go back to the Perth area, maybe Xmas or around Easter 09. I live in the Algarve, southern Portugal - similar climate to Perth. If you're interested, email me at dave@player.pt so we can discuss this more.

There's a web site for accessible house swaps...

Wow this is a fantasic idea!!

Only thing I'm thinking is what classification my house would get!

Would have to do a check box for each need in a hosue.

Although we wouldnt be able to do it for at least a couple of years it sounds like a darn good idea.

Do we swap jobs too?

I remember talking about southern Portugal on this forum before. Now I'm interested in traveling to the region and wonder if/what alternative accommodations might be available to me.
I read here about the idea of swapping homes. It just so happens I have a beautiful place on a lake here in Maine -- great through the summer months and now if you're crazy into ice fishing or something.

Does someone have a rental unit in the Algarve? Other ideas?

I used to like in the Algarve and have contacts of lots of accessible accommodation etc in the Algarve. Feel free to email me with info on what you're looking for/need, and I'll be more than happy to help you out. dave@player.pt
