I am wheelchair bound but I get to ambulate and do active exercises including ankle weights, ergociser etc.. My left leg has a good muscle bulk however my right leg is conspicuously athropied (inspite of all the exercises I do with it.)
I am getting alarmed because I cannot find the reason of the continued thinning.
I would appreciate any advise how I can delay the continued athropy. Please help

I find the same thing in my right leg even though i exercise all the time. When there is not much or no nerve signal you will not regain any muscle no matter how hard you work. I have asked my doctor this before.
hi quadc5,
what will be the long term consequences?
are you in a way taking some medicines to improve nerve signals?

I cant say i know of anything you could take for this problem. Stem cell therapy may be only cure. Other than that pretty much permanant. Can you walk independantley or mainly wheelchair use?

Yap, I could ambulate using the walker. although the thin legs keeps on buckling. Other than that I use the wheelchair for long distance walks....
