Like Nomis, I once had two people try to preach religion to me using my condition.

And, as I posted earlier tonight, I am a 20-something-year-old who looks like an older teen. So who were those two people preaching to me? Two older teens. I was a little surprised; the churches around that part of town were using TEENS to preach to TEENS! That's a new tactic on me. I guess they were trying to appeal to the younger crowd.

It was a little insulting... I just nodded and smiled as they followed me, usually one preaching while the other was sipping on a Slurpee, before Slurpee Boy continued the preach and Preachy Boy took a turn with his own Slurpee. Inside, I was thinking along the lines of, "Please respectfully f*** off."

When I was about 16, I was in a grocery store and a woman noticed the scars on my wrists and started crying and praying, the employes in the store thought she was mentally ill and called the police on her.

There was a speaker at my school one time, this really over-enthusiastic, energetic guy talking about working for the Peace Corps or something to that effect. After the presentation, he was taking questions, and he was having people stand up to ask questions so he could see them better. So I raise my hand, he calls on me, I start asking my question. Partway through my question, he cuts me off and basically hollers to the whole auditorium, "Hey, stand up over there! I want to see who's talking!" I was just like, Um..... and he eventually figured it out and was really embarrassed. Whoops. :wink05:
