I visited my Mum last week on a chilly night. Arrived frozen.

She warmed a cotton sheet in the dryer and threw it over me, without my consent.

Told her to get lost, cited my age and gave her queer look. Secretely though, I was snug as.

A heat pad on your cushion & back?
Thermals under your clothes? Keep feet, knees, wrists, neck & (dare I say it) head covered.
Agreed, a cotton sheet or blanket heated in the dryer or microwave, is an excellent option for a quick warm-up.

Wear a toboggin......(preferably one fleece lined) My husband wears one during the day even if he is inside and he even slept in one last night.....I realize it sounds corny....but it works great! (I also sometimes warm his up before I put it on him..granted, he's 32, but like kDd said...he's definately snuggly warm afterward!)
God will never give me anything that I cannot handle.....I just wish he didn't trust me so much!

Becareful with that ...my man had bee really, really cold lately turns out he lost 9 units of blood and the drs are still trying to figure out where the blood went. He had to get lots of blood tranfusions. He is now officially anemic.

Im just saying be careful and stay checked out by your doctor.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
