Hi guys,
I got baclofen pump last desember and have been living great with it, almost no spastic activity and no drowsyness due to medicasion. I took up to 300mg baclofen and 24mg sirdalud daily to lessen my spastic so this pump has really, REALLY increased my functionality and made me a much happier individual.

3 weeks ago the scar around the pump started to get red and little bit hot and the redness is still stedily increasing. My surgeon opened me up, took sample close to the pump and also skin sample for bacteria growth. No bacteria has been found nor mushrooms on the skin that could explane the redness. I was put on oral antibiotics (Dikloxacillin) and steroid cream (Dermovat) to rub on the skin.
Neither medicine has made any difference... My surgeon and my skin doctor are now just scratching their heads in bewilderment.

I would greatly appresiate any ideas or help you could give me ( and my doctors :mfrlol: ) or maby point me to a webpage were I could possibly find solution to this proplem.
Thanx in advance,
Aggi from Iceland.
