Who said they did? All they had to do was take over the minds and bodies of the people in the local roads/highway/transportation department (whatever it is called in your state).

Teenage girls write the most entertaining things... I've never figured out why but when I ran a creative writing group some of the stuff the girls would write would have me in stitches for hours. What goes on in their scrambled little minds??!!

Cool new photo of the sun by NASA's recently launched Solar Dynamics Observatory, or SDO:

Attached Image: solar_temps__compressed_.jpg

This is a full-disk multiwavelength extreme ultraviolet image of the sun taken by SDO on March 30, 2010. False colors trace different gas temperatures. Reds are relatively cool (about 60,000 Kelvin, or 107,540 F); blues and greens are hotter (greater than 1 million Kelvin, or 1,799,540 F). Credit: NASA/Goddard/SDO AIA Team

Lovely Bluebells Denny. I'll be going to the woods at Rufford Park to ee them. They usually show best around the 6th/7th May.

Here is an image I took, it is part of the scenery surrounding the ring of Kerry.
