One of my favorite photos. My son was 1.5yrs old and he just randomly decided to smell some flowers outside a museum. Luckily, my wife snapped a picture.

Jerry, your photos are really creative and artistic. Beautiful.

Mine were taken when I was in Dorset / South England two weeks ago. Lovely.
They show the Jurassic Coast - Durdle Door - Old Harry's Rock. I love that kind of landscape - the cliffs, the sea. And the salty air was so refreshing!
Jenny, those are beautiful, the white cliffs truly amazing, it's great to see the world thru other eyes, thnx for posting :D

Jerry, thank you. Yes, the world is a very beautiful, breathtaking place (well, mostly ...) - there definitely is beauty in great landscape, but also in little things.

My new chair! My darling photographer took over a 100 photographs, 63 of which I would willingly show you were it not for the fact you'd be bored silly!!
So here's two...

Okay so it seems I've messed that up a bit!! So here's two different ones.

(Because of course the first thing you do when you get a new chair is go to the skateboard park to put it through it's paces).

Yesterday two storms met right in town. Power was off here for 8 hours (from 4pm - midnight) and most roads were flooded. Broke some windows in the back pourch, the kitchen rook leaked, destroyed the plastic eves, knocked a tree down in the ally which took out 2 of our neighbours fences, and msot of the town is still a lake. But i'm nice and dry

Yesterday a photograph shoot organised (for professional models / photographers) to raise funds for the Macmillan Nurses charity, the event took place at the traction shed (lots of lovely machines for them to pose over). Unfortunately one of the models did a no show and I was dragged kicking and screaming from my overals, scrubbed clean with swarfega gel (my face has never been so ex foliated) and thrust into the make up tent and spent the rest of the day in a variety of dresses (eep) posing around in her place.

Horrendous isn't it!!!

Thank you, though I shall still maintain that I hate those photographs!! (Back in the safety of my overals now although it's entirely possible I broke my finger when the hammer slipped *owie*) I am told that the photographers have to pick some photographs (aka the ones they managed to get in focus etc) and then send them on to the model (I'll be having mine sent via the organiser as I wasn't all organised with the business cards like everyone else!)to do with as she pleases. This usually takes 4 weeks but if I get any ones of me posed all over the shiny things (I posed all over two cars, a tractor, a steam roller, a fire engine, a harley what not motorbike, a picket fence! ...) I'll be sure to add them to your personal collection :)
