(Scrib's. place your cursor where you want your image to go in your text, and click, then select the image you want to insert from the drop down menu called "Manage Current Attachments" below the text box. Select the image by clicking the green "+" sign.
If you now look at your text again, you will see the code has been inserted. You can only insert images after you have uploaded them.)

We didn't have dropped Kerbs in our village so I went out with 2 friends and took photos and measurements of the kerbs at road junctions around the village.
We placed everything in a neat presentation file with a letter, which explained in detail the difficulties people had crossing roads; this was then sent to our County Council. We were surprised by their reaction, as they weren't aware of the problem and acted swiftly. We now have dropped kerbs around the village, which is easier for wheelchairs, the elderly and mums with buggies.
I think its a Post Code lottery on any assistance from Councils. I'm pleased you were finally successful.
