Anyone been to any nice cottages ANYWHERE in the UK that they would recommend? I need to book a break for after xmas as I have a totally packed diary for 15 days solid :P

the cottages were really well set up with great bathrooms etc. had a nice couple of days but it is quite isolated so not much to do but chill out, play monopoly, jenga and trivial pursuit.
and no, i didnt try the mobility scooter as pictured. jt
