is it normal to have foams and bubbles in urine during cathetherisation? I sometimes get this.

What does it mean if there is lots of bubbles and foam?

When I stand up to cathetherise, I get lots of foam/bubbles to the extent that they cover the top surface of the urine but these will dissipate after a while.

Well, I'm not shy about peeing in front of my friends or having my friends pee in front of me, and my boys at the shop ALWAYS have bubbles/foam in their pee. I think it's because they are peeing from a height and it just creates the bubbles. Nothing wrong with you but if you're not sure, head over to your doctor and check it out.

Edited to add that if your pee smells bad then THAT'S a bad sign.

I think it has something to with the speed the urine comes out, I sometimes get that!
