I know forums can be addictive, so, who can't get through the week without a shot of Apparelyzed?

Just consider this a bit of group therapy, go on, put your hand up, you know part of accepting your addicted is to admit it to your peers! :)

My name is Simon, and I'm a Tetraplegic, I am a member of AA.

Simon :)

I find I'm a closet member of AA and I lie about being on the computer. Is there a cure? Do we need therapy? I'm up do daily log-ons. I even try to sneak a second log-on occasionally.

I check in most everyday but rarely post. I do have one question though, what does the AP stand for in front of paralyzed? I'm a little thick and sometimes slow on the uptake.

Just because I log-on multiple times a day doesn't mean i am an addict! I can quit anytime I want too.....I just not right now! :)

I would raise my hand but unfortunately they have been lazy since 96... I'm new to the site and I find myself checking my e-mail multiple times and logging on just as much as I do on my myspace... maybe that's why I'm single LOL.

Its been over a year for me. I thought I had control. It had me.

I thought getting a job would help distract me, but I work from home, at the computer.

I've cut back on my chatting. I swear.

Okay, okay, I can't take the pressure anymore.

Denial, ain't just a river in Egypt.

My name is Hapa and I'm an Apparelyzedaholic - oh that felt so good to get that out finally!

Apparelyzed grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

No problem for me, either. I'm not the addictive kind. I signed up a couple of years ago just to give it a go for a few weeks and I feel I can drop it any time. I went a day without it back in July and I was fine, mostly.
