I had to switch my bladder meds., went from Ditropan/Oxybutin to Sanctura XR. Well the blader spasms seem to have ceased but...the new meds seem to give me blurry vision and headaches. Was wondering if anyone else is or has experienced these symptoms on Sanctura. It seems by evening time my vision becomes so blurry that I can not read. My eyes just cant focus and get occasional headacehes. Ive been taking it for about 2 weeks now and the effects I experience are not constant but enough to really annoy me. Went to the eye doc and said my vision was still 20/20, of course U dont show symptoms when u go get it looked at, Murphy's law! Anyway just wondering if anyone else experiencing similair side effects with it.

It did take a few days or so to start working. I quite taking my oxybutin/ditropan when i started the Sanctura. The only side effect I seem to suffer was a bit of blurry vision, doc said it was dry eyes. Its working great so far. I was on 30mg of the oxy/ditro, 3 5mgs in the morning and 3 5mgs in the evening, which gave me terrible dry mouth and still had spasms. The side effects from the sanctura have ceased or my body has just adjusted. I have been leak free since except the occasional leak when drinking copious amounts of alcohol. I would recommend this to anyone who is having trouble with bladder spasms and the oxybutin just isn't cutting it.

ive been takin sanctura for about 2 or three months now and never had any side effects from it. it helped my bladder alot compared to the ditropan when i was on it. so maybe you just need some time to adjust.

Im assumin you were having incotinence... how much ditropan were you on? im only taking 5 mg 4 times a day, and he gave me this to try along with ditropan. he told me thats the highest dose he could give me, which from reading other posts i know is BS!
thanks
