I recently received an e-mail from a person that I met at a friend's wedding. While fully exploring the open bar, we discussed SCI, research, cure, and the like. He eventually told me that he wanted my e-mail address because he had information he wanted to send me that I would want to see. I assumed they had something to do with SCI research or cure, but what I received was what looked to me like propaganda praising glyconutrients as a possible cure for SCI and MS.
I didn't think much of it then becuase of its propaganda like nature, but just yesterday he sent me another e-mail and this one contained a .pdf file that showed 4 images and told a story. It was basically trying to say that glyconutrients had helped a man's finger regenerate.. (Much like a lizard's tail.) They show a picture of his finger freshly cut and a picture of his finger scabbed over at the cut and starting to heal. Then a third and 4th picture jump (emphasis on jump) to a hand with a finger regrown except for the tip which had scabbing and looked as if it was still healing.
Now either this is some miracle or someone just took a picture of a guy with a chopped off finger and a guy with a messed up tip of his finger and cleverly placed them in this .pdf file.
Anyway.. to make a long story short (err wait..) I want to know if these glyconutrients are anything to look into.

Hi there ~
i have not been able to afford to go on glyconutrients with any regularity, but i have heard a lot about them ~ "Ambertose" being the brand that i've heard of.
i truly think that if you can afford to do your own study on yourself, go for it!
i have a good friend whom i trust very much. she has been selling them for years and has many stories of miraculous-sounding healing, including spinal cord injuries.
i do know from limited personal experience, it won't hurt you and tastes and feels GREAT!
Go for it!

if this doesn't pop up, do a google search for "Mannatech" and look under products for "Ambertose". you want to get the pure, 100% ambertose, not a blend of herbs that just contains some of it. so do a bit of research.
if you do find an independant distributor, it might be preferable because they get a lot of training and have a lot of great stories of healing to keep you motivated.
for my sci, it was recommended i get the $100 bottle of ambertose powder and drink one tablespoon in orange juice every day. it ends up being $100 a month.
Good luck and kudos on thinking outside the box!!!

I'm not concerned about obtaining them. I want to know if they are worth it. Does it even do anything? If these glyconutrients are so amazing and have these miraculous healing abilities, why doesn't everyone know about? Why does everything have to be so obscure and underground if it is so "amazing"?

I am pretty sure Mannatech as a company is a network company, like Amway, and that’s possibly why their products are 'underground'. I used some of their stuff when I was an AB. Didn't live up to the miracle stories the rep (no nutrition background mind you!) promised. Mind you the quantities and product I 'had to combine to get the best result' would have meant 15-20% of my disposable income was being spent on supplements. Go into any decision well informed and you’ll make ‘the right decision’. I've been out of rehab 9 months and I'm not getting on the glyconutients bandwagon.
