Our Braun UVL lift is stuck in its track. We have had in "repaired" 3 times in the last month and a half. Our problem now is that when Robert came home tonight, he got out of the truck and tried to stow the unit, which did not work. Now the thing is stuck and will not go in or come back out which means the truck doors will not shut without me pulling the actuaters (sp??) off and shutting them with manually. The problem being that we are supposed to drive the truck to the repair shop 75-80 miles from home. All this with the lift stuck out over a foot. Enough rambling, does anyone out there have any idea how to force the lift back in. Even when I pulled the shank under the hood which is supposed to let you manually override the system it is still stuck. Any help would be great. We are tired of dealing with this thing. Robert is super tired of being stuck at home with ME!!! and no ride he can drive. Thanks All

Just wanted everyone to know that we got the lift out. Robert hooked a chain to the lift and to his wheelchair and yanked it out. He is now trying to clean dirt outof the track. He is doing exactly what the repair company said they just did. Now he is just hoping to get it clean enough to push it back in completely so we can take it BACK to the shop. Thanks ALL
