Lord,, there are so many things it could be,,,,, a lot of them could be life threatening,,, so my suggestion is to go to a doctor about it. I hesitate to suggest any of the simple stuff for fear that these remedies might temporarily cover up symptoms,,,, making diagnoses harder.

12 months in bed for a pressure sore and no operation?????? WTF are they waiting for????? If it's the ulcer,, why can't they do the back surgery and the flap surgery at the same time???? You'll be on your belly anyway, most likely............Oh... wait.... this is the UK.... Are all the horror stories they tell us over here in the states about "socialized medicine", true????

Surely there must be a doctor nearby that has the decency to find a way to get you out of that bed,,,,, that may be the thing needed for your other problem , too.

Whenever I get the bloated stomach thing, myself,, it has usually been bowel related,,,, Except once,,,,, gall bladder went south,,,

So get it checked. And let us know how you're feeling, Chichi. Don't be a stranger.
