Just Another Family

Guess what?, just because you are disabled does not mean you cannot start a family.

The medical support is there for those who need it, with such treatments as IVF and ICSI commonplace, unless there is a medical reason, most people who have been paralyzed can start a family.

My daughter was born 7 years after my accident via ICSI, and sure enough, she is completely healthy, and very lively.

You may wonder how children grow up with a disabled parent, well, she takes it all for granted, to her it's nothing unusual. Her freinds come around to play, and it's no big deal with them either, once we get past the "why can't you walk?" questions.

Although one little girl does keep refering to my wheelchair as a wheelbarrow !
