Player!

Disabled sports are now well recognised amongst the disabled and people with spinal injuries.

Two of the most popular sports are Wheelchair Basketball and Wheelchair Rugby.

Wheelchair Basketball is generally played by paraplegics and amputee's, as alot of upper body strength is required. The game is very fast and has the same objectives as the abled boded version of the sport.

Wheelchair Rugby is generally played by quadreplegics, or people with impaired upper body strength. Although not as fast as basketball, wheelchair rugby is a full contact sport, and can therefore be very punnishing to the paintwork of your wheelchair. The objective being to get a ball between the goalposts of the oppositions end of the court.

So get some pads, gloves and retouching paint, and you're off!
