Think Different!

Well, maybe surfing may be pushing it just a little bit, but there are still a bunch of activities you can participate in if you are disabled. Water Skiing, Downhill Skiing, Sky Diving, Basketball, Rugby, Sailing, Wheelchair Athletics, Swimming and Tennis are just a few sports which a wheelchair user can participate in. Many abled boded activities have their disabled alternatives, and there are plenty of organisations who are there to support disabled sports. The best place to find out about disabled sports is your local hospital or leisure center. And most leisure centers will hold activities tailored for disabled people. So what are you waiting for?, pick up the phone and see what you can do!
