Holidays With Help

What?

We focus on adapted holidays for people with disabilities and their carers and have 30 years experience in specialist respite care breaks for people with disabilities. We can provide trained and experienced helpers, choice of activities i.e. craft workshops, archery, indoor canoeing, all led by trained tutors, day and evening entertainment programme.

Who? 

Whilst the charity is new, the expertise supporting it is not. The management team have in some instances, thirty years experience of working with and organising these holidays, featuring on large group holidays.

Where?    

For many years we have based our holiday at Pontin’s Holiday Centre, Blackpool, this year we are also at South Downs Holiday Village. The venues offer a wide ranging choice of indoor and outdoor activities, plus full evening entertainment programs, all designed to give you maximum enjoyment. Accommodation is in comfortable apartment-style accommodation at both venues.

How?  

As well as large group bookings, we welcome individual bookings. This allows single people, couples or family groups to enjoy a holiday, safe in the knowledge that the care and support systems that are in place embrace them as well as the larger groups.

Help?  

Holidays with Help is supported by the services of trained and experienced voluntary helpers. Medical and nursing personnel are also on site to offer and guidance where necessary should it be needed. However it should be noted that we do not provide 24 hour nursing care.
